> ⚠️ Use this function **only** when you want to permanently delete all glossary data from a space. Once launched, the data **cannot be restored**.
> ⚠️ 
> ⚠️ Before proceeding, we strongly recommend that you **export the glossary data** if you want to keep a backup of the space’s glossary content.

## Steps to clean all glossary data in a space

1. Open the Glossary Sanity Check interface
2. Select “Clean all Glossary data from space”

3. Enter the Space Key of the space you want to clean.

4. Launch the cleaning action.

Once the function has completed:

- All data in the database related to glossaries in that space will be **permanently deleted**.
- Glossary pages in that space will display an **error message**, because there is no longer any glossary data in the database for that space.

> ⚠️ 
> ⚠️ - **Glossary pages are *****not***** deleted automatically.**  
> ⚠️ You must delete the glossary pages manually if you no longer need them.
> ⚠️ - When deleting a glossary, you also have the option to **delete its letters**.
