## Access Glossaries dashboard

1. Navigate to your Confluence instance or your Confluence space
2. Click “Apps” in Confluence Navigration menu

3. Select “Glossaries”

You will be redirected to the global dashboard listing all glossaries contained in your Confluence instance. 

## Glossaries Dashboard Elements


<details>
<summary>Spaces and glossaries navigation bar</summary>

In order to view glossary terms you must select a space and select which glossary contained in that space you want to consult.

Once you select a space, a trigger will be launched to list related glossaries (if exist)

#### If space does not contains Glossaries:

If space does not contain Glossaries, default Glossary will be loaded as the unique on in space as displayed below:

<details>
<summary>All Glossaries terms listing</summary>

Once you load this view, you will be able to list all terms existing in your Confluence instance. 

This listing is under the ALL TAB with indication to total terms existing in instance. 

You can navigate within those terms via the letter navigation bar grouping terms.

When you first load the terms, they are in a cropped display and you can expand terms details via the *Expand All* link. 

A term contains the following details:

- Term title
- Term definition
- Additional details: Synonyms, Abbreviations, Labels and Attachments
- Translation section if enabled
- Space name and link:  Indicating the hosting space for the glossary. When you click on the space name, it will be loaded in the Glossary Dashboard and displaying all terms in that space.
- Glossary name and link: Indicating the hosting glossary for the term. When you click on the Glossary name, it will load all terms of that glossary
- Information about creator and creation date.

> ℹ️ Term information and details are editable from listing.

## Adding new term to Glossary

This will open a 2 steps forms to select the space containing a glossary and select the desired Glossary to add term to.

By clicking **Add Term** after selecting a space or one of its specific glossaries, you can add your term details.

## Search and filtering

> ⚠️ Search applies to all your Glossaries and all terms in the Confluence

## Search

The search bar provides the ability to perform a textual search for glossary terms or/and metadata.

You can search for the text value added in the search bar by ticking the corresponding parameters in:

- Term title
- Term definition
- Term synonyms
- Term abbreviations
- Term labels

## Filter

The filter allows you to group terms by user, creation date, or labels for easier navigation.
