Glosso is a Rovo powered agent that can be used to automate  Vectors' Glossary App functionalities. It helps you spot term used in confluence documents and provide their definitions, define a new set of terms in an instant, and organize and create thems them in your glossary in a second. 

Whether it’s technical jargon, acronyms, or just words the team keeps asking about, Rovo makes it easier for you to build a glossary and manage it.

## What Can Glosso Do?

With Glosso, you can:

- Find and suggest new potential terms from a Confluence page
- Generate definitions for new terms
- Add terms directly to your glossary
- Look up definitions of existing terms
- Highlight glossary terms already used on a page
- Export terms as a CSV file

Note: All actions can be done in a single chat session.

## How to Open it ?

## How can you use it?

### 1. **Find new terms on a page**

 **When **you want to check which term from your conflunce page that can be added to your glossary 

**How:**

- Go to the Confluence page you’re interested in and open Glosso agent
- Ask Glosso “Find new terms to define”
  - You can add more specification related to your work
    - ex” “Find new terms releated to react to define”
- Glosso scans the page, picks the most important terms and provides their definitons
- You can still make changes to the content provide: change the definition, add more details like synonyms, abbreberatrion and labels

#### Best practice

After defining a list of terms, you don’t have to start over! You can:

- Jump straight to **section 2** (Add a New Term) to add your list to a glossary in the same chat,  
**or**
- Go to **section 3** (Export Your Glossary) to download your list of neew term for you own uses—in the same chat.

### 2. **Add a new term**

**When **you want to add a new term to your glossary without leaving your conflunce page

**How**

- Open Glosso agent
- Ask it “Add ‘CI/CD’ to the glossary”
  - **Best practices:**
    - At this step you can provide it’s definition and metdata , or simply ask Glosso too generate one
    - Adding terms can be done after the point 1 (Find new terms on a page) after defing with Glosso a list of new potential terms: you can choose to add them to a glossary
- Then after specifying the terms to add and their details , Rovo will guide you to add them into the right glossary
  - It will you ask you in which space and which glossary you want to add your glossary
  - To further help you it will provide the list of space and glossaries in which you have acess
  - You need to slect a space and glossary in which you have access to add terms
- After selection Glosso will go on and ad the terms to your glossaries and provide you with direct links to check the newly added terms

### 3. **Export**

**When **you want to export a list of term that glosso has generated or a list of exisiting glossary terms as a CSV file (for backup, sharing, or importing elsewhere).

How 

- After generating a new list of terms (point 1) or highlighting a list of glossary term used on the confluence page (**section 5**)
- Ask Glosso:
  - “Export these terms”
  - “Download as CSV”

- Glosso will give you a download link

### 4. **Look up a specific term**

**When **you want to check the defintion of a specifi term on your confluence page 

**How:**

There are 2 ways to  it:

1. Direclty from your confluence page
  1. Select the term
  2. Hover on it
  3. Select “Check term”
  4. Glosso will look up its defintion in your glossaries

2. Through Glosso Agent
  1. Open Glosso agent
  2. Ask Glosso: “Check if “*(The term)*” is in the glossary”
  3. Glosso will look up its defintion in your glossaries

### 5. **Show terms already used on your page**

**When **you want to check which glossary terms are used on your confluence page.

**How **

- Go to the Confluence page you’re interested in and open Glosso agent

- Ask Glosso:
  - “Show existing glossary terms”
  - Or “Highlight defined terms here”
- Glosso will look up and  list out all the terms already present,  you can edit or export them if you want.

## What info can I add to terms with Glosso?

- **Definition**
- **Synonyms:** Other ways to say the term
- **Abbreviations:** Short forms or acronyms
- **Labels:** Tags to help organize your terms

## Tips

- Double-check AI-suggested definitions—they’re a starting point to help you
- Use labels on terms to keep them organized
- **Leverage the Chat Flow: **You can move between spotting terms, adding them to a glossary, and exporting—all in the same chat session. No need to start over!
