Before running the CCMA migration, we recommend using our Migration Assistance.

## Benefits of running the CFT Assistant prior to the CCMA Tool

Using this assistant on the spaces you plan to migrate allows you to:

1. Audit all space pages and included CFT macros.
2. View a detailed report of macro and page errors.
3. Provide possible fixes.
4. Improve migration time via CCMA, as the app will query a table created during the audit.

## Where to start - Select the spaces you want to audit

Navigate to the Content Formatting Toolkit Migration Assistant interface via **Manage Apps > Content Formatting Toolkit > Migration Assistant**.

You will land on the welcome page, where you can start auditing your spaces using the button below:

In this step, select the spaces to scan in preparation for migration.

You can:

- Select all spaces
- Select specific spaces
  - If you previously ran the check on spaces, find their status on the list.
  - You can run the check multiple times on the same space.

Once ready, click “**Run audit on spaces**.”

> ⚠️ - The check may take some time, depending on the size of the space
> ⚠️ - An estimated duration will be indicated in the modal

> ℹ️ Closing the window will not stop the readiness check.
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ When reopened you will be redirected to:
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ - The (loading) modal or
> ℹ️ - To the results page if they are ready.
