It uses the cloud migration assistant released by Atlassian. # Before start - [ ] We recommend reading [this Atlassian article](https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/plan-your-cloud-migration-972349846.html) to plan your migration. - [ ] Please check that you have Ideation latest version for both Server and Cloud" installed in both Confluence instances (having previous versions in any of them won't trigger the Ideation migration; it will just migrate a Confluence space without Ideation data). - [ ] Make sure that Confluence users have valid email addresses that are the same in their cloud counterparts. - [ ] Ideally perform the migration with user that have admin site privileges on your Confluence Cloud site. - [ ] Update the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant to the latest version. # Migration process - Make sure that the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA) is updated to its latest version before proceeding with the migration process. - Use the [Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219672/confluence-cloud-migration-assistant?_ga=2.79281814.385750282.1572431071-748161253.1533556773&_gac=1.40698390.1571216476.EAIaIQobChMIsKTIr7Wg5QIVjA4rCh3XxAOtEAAYASAAEgKDgPD_BwE) app to migrate everything you need from Confluence server to cloud. [Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant](https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/cloud-migration-assistant-for-confluence-973486571.html) explains in detail the step-by-step procedure to migrate the required content. - Select the spaces and the users that you want to migrate - With every migrated space the related Ideation will be migrated with its ideas, challenges, statuses ... - Each migration has 2 major steps                 1 - Migrate Confluence data (Spaces, pages, users)                 2 - Migrate Ideation data (Ideas, votes ...) That's it !
